Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

  • These Terms and Conditions apply to inquiries, registrations and bookings for language courses offered by Lalmano GmbH, especially German courses A1, A2 and B1.

2. Services and course location

  • Lalmano offers language courses and general orientation regarding the appropriate language level. Unless otherwise agreed, courses take place at Rottstraße 24, 45127 Essen, Germany, or online. The courses do not replace legal advice, official assessment, or binding evaluation of recognition, visa or residence matters.

3. Inquiry, registration and conclusion of contract

  • Inquiries via website, e-mail, WhatsApp or telephone are non-binding. Under the current rules, a paid contract is concluded only after payment of the course fee. A right to participate exists only after conclusion of the contract and only if a course place is available.

4. Course data and prices

  • A1 German course: 160 teaching units, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 13:00, EUR 450 including VAT.
  • A2 German course: 160 teaching units, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 13:00, EUR 450 including VAT.
  • A1 + A2 package: EUR 699 including VAT.
  • B1 German course: 200 teaching units, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 13:00, EUR 550 including VAT.
  • Exam fees, external certificates, official fees, travel costs, additional materials and other external costs are not automatically included in the course price.

5. Payment

  • The course fee must be paid before the start of the course. Participation may be made dependent on timely payment.

6. Minimum number of participants

  • A course generally starts with at least 10 participants. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Lalmano may postpone or cancel the course.

7. Cancellation by participants

  • The statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. In addition, unless otherwise agreed: Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the course starts. Up to 7 days before the course starts, 50% of the course fee is due. From 6 days before the course starts or in case of no-show, no refund will be made.

8. Rebooking

  • One rebooking is possible free of charge up to 7 days before the course starts, provided that a free place is available in a suitable course. After that, there is no entitlement to free rebooking.

9. Absences

  • Absences of individual participants do not entitle them to a proportional refund. Materials may be provided where possible.

10. Cancellation or postponement by Lalmano

  • Lalmano may postpone or cancel courses due to an insufficient number of participants, illness of the teacher or important organisational reasons. Course fees already paid will be refunded if a course is cancelled and no replacement date is agreed.

11. Examinations, certificates and authorities

  • Lalmano does not owe a specific examination result or official recognition of a certificate. Whether evidence is accepted for visa, residence, naturalisation, study, training, work or recognition is decided exclusively by the competent authority.

12. Liability

  • Lalmano has unlimited liability in cases of intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence, liability is limited to breach of essential contractual obligations and the foreseeable typical damage.

13. Data protection

  • Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.

14. Final provisions

  • German law applies. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. If individual provisions are invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
